Recorded on his last visit to Gambia this year he
fuses western hip-hop sounds with Eastern cultures
and ways and also rhyming in wolof (one of the
Gambian Languages). Looking at women’s
experience both here and in the East and seeing how
there are so many similarities yet just experienced in
different countries and cultures.

“The track is to guide our sistas back to self respect
and not to be un-lady like controlled by materialism
and to lose themselves…“girl stay under, take cover
